ASG is committed to strengthening the policy implementation capabilities of African leaders. Through its social innovation incubator, ASG brings together researchers and policymakers to tackle emerging public policy challenges, developing bold, practical solutions that go beyond what governments can achieve alone.
This pillar connects the school’s teaching and research to the people who make and carry out policy. The result is a two-way relationship: practitioners shape ASG’s research questions, and ASG’s evidence shapes decisions on the ground.

The Africa Mindset Reset Forum
The Africa Mindset Reset Forum
ASG’s inaugural Africa Mindset Reset Forum convened thousands of participants at the Kigali Convention Centre in August 2026, under the theme From Pan-Africanism to Meta-Africanism.
The Forum examined the shifts in mindset required for the continent to act as owners rather than caretakers of its own future. It is the flagship of ASG’s convening work, and the intention is for it to become a recurring moment in the continent’s calendar.
